We have created the L/F version of Chocolate Orpington’s from our Chocolate Bantam Orpington’s. We have done crosses to make them as large as our L/F Black Orpington’s and are now trying to improve them to show quality.

The pen which these birds have come from consists of a pure black Orpington cockerel (David Pownall)  and pure chocolate L/F hens. This gives ALL Black Offspring, all the males (split blacks) will carry the Chocolate gene.
