| 6 White Campbell Duck Hatching Eggs These originated from a sport of the Khaki Campbell. It was the wild Mallard that played its part in the make-up of the khaki Campbell, together with blood of the fawn-and-white Runner and that of the Rouen. Introduced in 1901 by its originator Mrs Campbell of Uley, Gloucestershire, it was her desire to keep the breed for prolific eggs laying, so that a very elementary standard was at first publicized. In this way the high egg-producing properties of the breed were maintained. Very high fertility rates have been achieved this year, but obviously cannot be guaranteed after going through the postal system.
